Selia Hansen was born and raised in Aalesund, Norway. At 14 years old, she was already a professional dancer and choreographer, as well as a coach for Rhythmical Gymnastics. In 1990, after a two year national tour of Norway with her own dance company and modeling agency, Selia moved to New York City where she lived for over ten years. Home is now in Los Angeles where she is continuing to pursue her career in the arts as well as a business owner.
In 1997, having a strong interest in the field of Eastern Medicine and a natural lifestyle, Selia expanded on her knowledge in the field of health. On this journey, she was introduced to Body and Energy Work Expert Michael Meir and studied with him for three years. Being impressed with his techniques, she decided to become a massage therapist to help others have similar beneficial experiences. Selia has worked in New York, Israel, Norway and Beverly Hills.
Advancing throughout her years of experience as a professional massage therapist, Selia built on what she learned from her teacher and is also a graduate from Hands On Healing Institute in California. She has created her own unique massage, which is a combination of Swedish, Deep Tissue, Trigger Points and Aromatherapy. It addresses the nervous system, and incorporates Reflexology. This massage thoroughly dissolves all muscle knots, blockage and tension, leaving you floating in a state of total relaxation
